RwandAir Jobs 2026: 17 Vacancies Open in Rwanda and Burundi

RwandAir Jobs 2026: 17 Vacancies Open in Rwanda and Burundi - RwandAir careers

RwandAir Is Hiring: 17 Job Listings, 30 Openings, and the First Deadline Is This Week.

RwandAir just put up a big batch of jobs on its online recruitment portal, and if you're job hunting in Rwanda right now, you'll want to look at this. There are 17 listings with 30 openings in total, spread across Rwanda and Burundi.

The roles cover a lot of ground: cargo, IT, finance, sales, customer service, management and flying. Some of the first deadlines are only days away, so let's get into it.

What's on the portal.

Most of the jobs went up on 6 and 7 October 2026. The two pilot roles are older, posted back on 4 September. The airline also makes a point of its Best Regional Airline in Africa award from 2025, right on the careers page.

The biggest intake by far is Cargo Equipment Operator. They're looking for 12 people, and the portal lists zero years of experience. For fresh graduates or anyone trying to get a first foot in the door at an airline, that's the one to watch.

The tech side is hiring too. Five IT roles went up together: database, data engineering, software, IT support and security. You don't see that many at once very often.

Closing 15 October

  • Call Center Team Leader (3 years, 1 opening, Rwanda)
  • Senior Manager Cargo Operations (8 years, 1 opening, Rwanda)

Closing 20 October

  • Database Engineer (4 years, 1 opening, Rwanda)
  • Data Engineer (3 years, 1 opening, Rwanda)
  • IT Support Engineer (2 years, 2 openings, Rwanda)
  • Software and Application Engineer (3 years, 1 opening, Rwanda)
  • IT Security Specialist (2 years, 1 opening, Rwanda)

Closing 22 October

  • Cargo Equipment Operator (no experience listed, 12 openings, Rwanda)
  • Finance Specialist (3 years, 1 opening, Rwanda)
  • Sales Team Leader (3 years, 4 openings, Rwanda)
  • Sales Team Leader (3 years, 1 opening, Burundi)
  • Sales & Ticketing Agent (1 year, 1 opening, Burundi)
  • E-Commerce Help Desk Manager (4 years, 1 opening, Rwanda)
  • Digital Products & System Development Manager (5 years, 1 opening, Rwanda)
  • Corporate Fraud and Investigations Manager (4 years, 1 opening, Rwanda)

Closing 30 November

  • A330 Captain (Rwanda)
  • A330 First Officer (Rwanda)

One odd thing here. The portal shows zero openings and zero years of experience for both pilot roles. That's probably just how the page displays them, so open the full job descriptions to see what's really required before you apply.

Who might fit where

If you're fresh out of school or have little experience, start with the Cargo Equipment Operator job. The Sales & Ticketing Agent role is the next easiest, asking for just one year.

If you've got two or three years behind you, there's a decent spread. IT Support Engineer and IT Security Specialist want two years. Data Engineer, Software and Application Engineer, Finance Specialist, Sales Team Leader, and Call Center Team Leader want three.

The senior jobs sit higher up. Database Engineer, E-Commerce Help Desk Manager, and Corporate Fraud and Investigations Manager ask for four years. Digital Products & System Development Manager wants five. Senior Manager Cargo Operations wants eight.

And keep an eye on location. Two of the sales jobs are based in Burundi, not Rwanda.

How to apply

Everything happens online. Go to erecruitment.rwandair.com, search for the job title or just scroll the list, and open the role you want. Read the full description first. Then create an account, fill in your profile, upload your CV and documents, and submit before that role's closing date.

A few small things that help. Don't wait for the last day, because portals tend to crawl when everyone shows up at once. Tweak your CV for the specific job instead of sending the same one everywhere. Have your certificates and ID scanned and ready before you start. And if you meet the requirements for more than one role, you can apply for each.
